SATO PJM Reader Manager for a wide variety of functions
Reader Manager is a graphical application for Windows. It provides a platform for reader setup, configuration, demonstrations, testing and application development. When it is run, Reader Manager can connect to a single reader at one time, however it can be switched between multiple readers. Multiple instances of Reader Manager can be run concurrently, each of which can be connected to different readers.
The program provides a set of tools, each of which provides a particular demonstration, test or diagnostic window.
Features
Auto discover, set up and configure all connected PJM readers
Manage and configure any number of PJM RFID readers across an entire network, regardless of the reader type or location.
Demonstration tools
Use Reader Manager to do simple demonstrations like bulk reading of StackTags, illustrating the speed and accuracy of PJM RFID.
Command and interrogate PJM readers
Various commands and interrogation actions of tags can be sent to the reader via Reader Manager, achieve or demonstrate different requirements.
Reading, writing and locking tags
Reading of tag data as well as encoding of additional data to the user memory can be done. Passwords can also be set to lock the tag memory, preventing access and/or data modification.
Update and report
Latest firmware can be installed into PJM readers using Reader Manager. It can also be used to run a diagnostic system report for analysis of readers’ technical status.
SATO PJM Reader Manager was developed to:
- Provide a simple PJM RFID reader set up, configuration and management tool.
- Allow remote access, configuration, command, interrogation of SATO PJM RFID Reader across a LAN.
- Provide a diagnostic report for technical support and allow for easy upgrade of reader firmware.
