Designed to provide 100% accuracy in the reading of items even when closely stacked together due to the unique capability of PJM RFID technology. SATO’s fridges and freezers are ideal for the storage of medical products, vacinnes, blood bags and blood products. With PJM RFID technology, user can perform extremely accurate stocktakes of critical blood and medical supplies in seconds, locally or remotely. User can also leverage on PJM RFID technology to improve cold chain tracking and reduce wastage through First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) management.*
We work with leading suppliers of fridges and freezers in the market to integrate our PJM RFID technology. To minimise cost, we are also able to look into retrofitting PJM RFID components into user’s existing fridges and freezers to make them PJM RFID-enabled, with little to no loss in storage capacity*.
*Product features differ according to user customisation*
Real-time visibility of physical blood products in single or multiple storage locations. Complete inventory count in seconds.
Real time count of stocks ensure blood product stays in cold chain as the time spent in barcode scan outside storage location is reduced. This ensure little or minimal bacteria activities on blood product hence, increasing quality of blood product and safety for patient. Real-time stockcount can be performed within fridge thus ensuring quality of blood product is maintained.
FIrst-Expired-First-Out capability reduces wastage of expired blood and blood products.
Alert or alarm can be triggered when non-authorised (for example quarantined, expired and recalled) blood bags are added and when blood bag is taken out of fridge or freezer close to or longer than pre-defined recommended time length.
3D reading capabiltiy allows for PJM StackTag™ to be read regardless of their orientation, even when closely stacked. This supports all existing methods used to store blood products hence making best use of limited space encountered in many blood centres, blood banks and laboratories.
User can set minimum stock level warnings and/or automatically triggered reordering. There is no need to manually count and check stocks before placing order to blood centre for replenishment.
User can reserve specific special blood product units and alert can be triggered if incorrectly removed from fridge or freezer.
Enable immediate network-wide search for available urgent blood products. Shortages can be immediately overcome by having total real time inventory of blood product in different blood banks.
